DEBIT ORDERS A MESS WHEN CHANGING ACCOUNTS

MY HUSBAND WENT TO ABSA KEY WEST BRANCH TO GET A NEW CARD DUE TO THE STRIP HAVING PROBLEMS, HE WAS THEN TOLD THAT HE APPLIES FOR THIS AND THIS ACCOUNT AND IT WILL ONLY TAKE 15 MINUTES TO CHANGE HIS DETAILS AND HE WILL THEN HAVE SO MANY PERKS ETC. AFTER I HAVE EXPERIENCED ISSUES WITH DEBIT ORDERS AFTER CHANGING ACCOUNTS HE WAS SCEPTICAL, HE WAS ASSURED THAT ALL HIS DEBIT ORDERS WILL BE 100% TRANSFERRED TO THE NEW ACCOUNT. ON 1 DECEMBER WHEN THE DEBIT ORDERS WERE SUPPOSED TO GO OFF, THERE WAS NOW AN ISSUE BECAUSE IT STILL WENT OFF THE ORIGINAL ACCOUNT, NOW AFFECTING HIS CREDIT SCORE. WHEN CONTACTING ABSA TO INFORM THEM THAT ONCE AGAIN THEIR SERVICE IS OF POOR QUALITY, HE RECEIVED INSTRUCTIONS THAT HE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN. POOR POOR SERVICE, VERY DISAPPOINTED
