Yesterday my account was debited with R1500 and when I called the customer care department to enquire on the details of the debit, I was referred to the legal collections department. I spoke to Itumeleng and enquired what this matter was about, and he explained that it was for a loan that was handed over for bad debts. FNB handed me over to a company called Unilaw with whom I have an arrangement in place and I explained to Itumeleng. I advised that I will have the debit reversed and he advised that he will make a note thereof. I went to FNB and reversed the debit and was advised that it would be done. I saw nothing was credited to my account and when I called the branch I was advised that they are not allowed to reverse the debit. I called the loans department again and spoke to Vuyi who advised that they will not reversed the refund the unauthorized debit. Ii I am paying a company for collection of the money monhtly than I don't see why FNB needs to from me as well. If this is not going to help than I will go to the papers and the NCR to resolve. I will make sure that FNB get the negative publicity it deserves for from an already struggling person.
