Un happy with king price insurance

I am very unhappy with king price ins now I had logged a claim with them about 2 weeks ago and I had to phone them today to find out what's going on they wound phone you and say listen this is what's happening so he said that because me and my dad have the same address on different insurance company that they only going to pay half of my claim the other half I need to do through my dad's insurance how do I do that if its my own stuff and I live in the cottage flat and if its like this why did they not tell me this the day I took out this insurance so can some one please contact me A.S.A.P to sort this out.
