I recently upgraded my account from a smart cheque acc to a gold cheque acc. I asked the consultant in one of your branches if l qualified to apply for a smart phone on the promotion you are running and he said l do now. I sent my details to the short code and l got an sms back to say "kindly note that according to our records you do not have the correct FNB personal cheque acc to qualify for a smart device. Please visit [URL Removed] to open an acc before reapplying." I would like to think if its the same organization these "smart" guys operate from then the system should have updated and shown that l do qualify, unless if there is a different criteria that lm not aware of and is not on their website. I have sent the sms twice already and l get the same automated response. Can someone explain to me what is going on??? Noone bothers to call and findout when l upgraded or explain the process at least. Im disappointed in your service.
