Paypal and Standard bank dont mix

I got some money into my paypal account from a friend in the UK and wanted to withdraw the money to my normal Standard bank account but could find no option to add my Standard Bank account to withdraw, only a way to add my credit card to the list to add more fund to paypal which is the opposite of what i want to do.

I see this FnB ad at the bottom of the withdraw screen and thought i'll check it out and what do you know? FnB lets customers link their accounts to their paypal accounts for easy withdrawal.

Me, being a very pro Std bank customer, phone their help line to ask how to withdraw after waiting forever for the consultant the person on the other side says she can do nothing and i should talk to paypal as that is where the problem is. I ask about the FnB thing and she says she doesn't know.
Why cant I use paypal with the bank i have always praised for excellent service and helpfulness, but the day I ask how to withdraw money from a huge financial institution they don't know how to help me?? Should i just move to FnB since they offer a service I require and let all my future banking go to them as well?
