Discovery Insure
Discovery Insure doesn't deliver on promises

The Discovery Plan Guide and Excess Funder Account policy documentation explain the benefits of the Discovery Insure product. Explained in the Excess Funder Account documentation is that if a policy lapses or is cancelled in any way, you will forfeit your Excess Funder Account and all accumulated funds. A 50% withdrawal from the fund is also only available after three years of policy inception.
I had built up over R20, 000 in the time i was with Discovery Insure.
I was required to change insurers and had to forfeit the full amount.
this is not explained in any of the advertising, nor was it made clear to me by any consultant.

John Robbie in his advert also says nothing about this.
i find it unacceptable.
SO READ THE SMALL PRINT. you do not get what they promise.
