1Life amended my banking details, upon the request a 1life agent also updated my personal banking details on their clients profile leaving me to pay double. The issue here is had I not picked up on the double billing, nothing would have been done by the 1life or the owner of the policy to be honest and call in advising that he/she is not debited. I called in several times and was advised that they can only pick up on just my monthly premium until I had to send my bank statement to help 1life confirm who the other debit order belongs too. This is, how safe are our personal details? Who checks if the update of the banking details is correct and linked to the correct profile?

A lovely gentlemen by the name of Mpho Molefe has been of great assistance but I require answers. Do I need to check my account monthly to see if I am paying for my premium only? When will I get my refund? Why has a manager not called me to explain how my personal details were updated on someone else's profile? What is 1life going to do to keep me a client?
