From the very beginning FNB have managed to break every promise made in their advertisements with both my husband and I and they have managed to do it again, twice in 1 month.

1. I recently broke my card so I went online, cancellled it and ordered a new one. several weeks later and I have heard nothing. I keep trying to order another one in the hopes that I might get it but while I can now, after several weeks, cancel the card they had assigned to me I cannot order a new one. The usual pathetic service.

2. I applied for a home loan online. Nothing happened. So I called them a week later. I was told that an online form is not an application despite advertisements to the contrary and that anyway they had not received anything from me. The person on the phone could not explain why they actually have a website if they don't bother to capture information when a customer submits it. This is the second time this has happened as they made me redo my entire application over the phone for 40 minutes when I opened my cheque account.

Truly pathetic. I am looking for a new bank.
