I was called tonight 29/08/2013 at around 21:00 regarding a debit order arrangement.
I was called previously about the same issue which I did explain that there will be no funds in my account for a debit to go off. Therefore to avoid an extra fee for a failed debit I requested to cancel the debit. Tonight I received a call from an agent who tells me that she can only cancel a debit before 19:00 when requested for it to be done the next day she tells me that. She cannot do it because she only works night shift and cannot do anything. I request to speak to a manager or team leader. Agent very abruptly tells me there isn't. Any managers on the flor coz they had all gone home. The agent refused to assist with my query and puts me on hold to get another agent. I was on hold for 3 minutes and the agent hung up. This is not the 1st time I had poor services from standard bank and I feel this has gone too far!
