Finance Declined!

In 2000 I had a vehicle financed by Wesbank. The car was and my insurance at that stage settled the vehicle. The deposit on the vehicle that I paid was also covered and the insurance company paid it to Wesbank. Wesbank in return paid the deposit back to me. The account was never closed and for the last 12 years I have been battling to get finance because of that account reflecting a "bad dept" status. After a mission last year and a visit to head office I was approved an Wesbank admitted that it's entirely their fault, they also assured me that I will never have to deal with this again. I now applied again only to receive the same negative feedback. This issue influence my entire credit profile! I have a letter in my position from Wesbank admitting that the matter is a mistake from their side, but it still reflects on the system. Need assistance urgently.
