Incorrect interest rate

I have contacted various departments of FNB all over South Africa. The interest rate on my personal loan has been increased from 13.5% to 46.44% and this was simply a mistake which nobody within the organisation can help to correct. I have now stopped paying the account as according to my records this account has been settled. Original loan amount was R12000, I have paid approximately R29000 and according to FNB still owe approximately R7000. I now receive calls for collections on a weekly basis, but still nobody can sort out my problem
