I was contacted on Friday, 21 of June 2013 at 17h00, by one of Nudebt's call centre agents, who, very rudely and unprofessionally, informed me of my outstanding TV license - for which I never received a renewal notice or reminders - I later found out that she even had the incorrect due date for the account. I asked her to forward me the relevant information - outstanding balance, account number, reference to be used, etc. - via email. I am still awaiting any response.

July 3, I receive an sms from them stating that if I don't fax proof of payment as arranged - arrangements that were never made as I'm still awaiting any details - further action will be taken. I then proceeded to call Nudebt, speaking to one of the call centre agents, and again asked for any details regarding the amount owed, etc. to be emailed. I am still awaiting any response. I sent them an email the same day asking for any details, but still have had no response.

I eventually phoned the SABC, asking for all the relevant details, and settled the account. Proof of payment was faxed to Nudebt.

For a debt collection company, it will be surprising if they have any success with this level of unprofessional service!
