My Fiance and I have just moved back to South Africa. We signed up with FNB to do all our banking with. When looking at what account to go for, our advisor tells us the various options but after hearing all the great perks with the platinum cheque account, we decided to got with that option. NO ONE told us the full story... after being told we were going to get all these perks, did I then find out in order to even get Ebucks there is a list of things you have to have every month otherwise you dont qualify. I then went to the slow Lounge at Cape Town airport, only to be greeted by the rudest and most unhelpful women at the desk who made me feel like i didnt deserve to be there. I was hit with another list of T&C's no body had told us about.
I think it is ridiculous you pay extra a month to get all these perks and then you STILL cant get them unless you havent done certain things.
I really wish the staff who signed us up had told us the FULL story.
I feel cheated!
