Ridiculous valuation of property

My wife and I were in process of applying for advance on homebond as we are busy extending our home. (The original bond registered on property 5 years ago was R1.6 million). Building work not yet completed but have spent almost R1 million so far. Bank requested revaluation of property. Bank appraiser valuated property for only R1.8 million on basis that building work was not completed yet. Despite all improvements on property made in last 5 years, not to mention current extensions, property gained only R200 000. In my opinion this is ridiculous. Perhaps she thought that we are in financial trouble and would never complete the building work. I am totally disgusted with FNB and the way they treat me as Platinum client. I am a highly professional person and deserve better treatment from a bank. Be warned before you decided to switch your bank business to FNB. They give new meaning to "bad service". In conclusion, just want to mention that FNB declined my application and treated me like dirt. I am through with this bank that humiliated me in this bad way and made me feel like a criminal.
