Account Paid yet no contact or response from DMC

I'm a bit concerned about DMC, and their response time. 2 months ago I received a call from their call centre regarding a debt that I had and had made arrangements with the call centre agent to pay it over 3 months. I've since paid up this debt in full and have emailed through my proof of payment to the following email address [Email Removed] as advised by Yandiswa a call centre agent whom assisted me with banking detials as well as the amount i owed. 2 days down the line i still haven't received any feedback whether or not they have recieved my payment which was a direct deposit into their bank account. I called the call centre unfortunately to be assisted by an incompetent agent who kept on reminding me that i made an arrangement to pay the account off in 3 months. I'm actually aware that you guys are one of the debt collectors who are collecting on debts that have already been prescribed by law and are no longer payable as they have been written off. You cannot claim money for a debt that's older than 3 years for retail accounts. And such is my debt. I have since paid it up and all I'm requesting is a letter stating that the debt has been paid up.
