Cancelled Flight very poor service

We flew from ADD to BKK on 21 Dec 2013, aircraft was old, filthy and tattered. Seat cushion was loose and upholstery torn. No individual entertainment or headphones. The flight back, ET 619, on 4 Jan 2014, was cancelled and we sat around for hours without any information. No Ethiopian Airlines staff were present on the airport and Thai Air consultants had to assist us. It has now been more than 12 hours, without any access to luggage, we were moved to a hotel 1hour away from the airport without any means to notify relatives. Any phone calls to the airline, airport or relatives including Wifi are for the passengers' account. No updates on a replacement flight has been given, with Ethiopian Airlines completely avoiding any form of communication to their passengers. Emailed all their departments, no response. Don't know whereto next. Terrible experiences twice in a row and will never use their services again. This airline should be avoided at all costs and I cannot believe that they are members of the Star Alliance group but treat their customers with such disdain.
