I travel through ORT every second week.
And every trip is the same, 2 out of 12 security check points being staffed... what about the other 10???

To add to this waiting time... I am then told to step-back as diplomats have priority. The diplomat in question is the wife of a SA embassy staff member and her 3 children!!!

On my way into OR Tambo last week we have to wait 45 minutes at passport control as only 4 staff where working... and we where told that foreign diplomats take priority over SA passport holders.

Please explain to me as a tax-payer who is over the cost of their travel, the cost of the security staff, and the costs of airport fees that I am LESS entitled to prompt service.

Try being your own customer sometime and you will be shocked at the customs/security staff.
