My friend flew to JHB from Omaha, Nebraska with 2 bags. Then on return she had to pay $101.50 to bring her second bag back. I realize American Airlines & British Airways are different companies but being as they are affiliated and she booked one round-trip flight-I cannot see any situation where a passenger of British Airways or American Airlines would leave with 2 bags and return with only one?? You should definitely refund her fee!!! We will not use this airline for travel/business (auditing internationally with the Big 4), if this does not get sorted! Also -please attend to the bad attitude we received from Jerelyn Lekalakala when asked how it is possible to fly here with 2 bags and return with only one! As well as the flight controller -Luana Mfuniselwa, who said she wouldn't do anything to prevent this in future as it is not her responsiblity but rather the customer's responsibility to complain. Luana agreed that this has happened before and when asked if she followed it up with head office -she said no and she wouldn't as it is not her responsibility. Now I ask you - WHO's responsibility is it to bring it under the attention of head office if the FLIGHT CONTROLLER does not want to???
