My family and I decided to fly with Etihad to the Middle East to see our family. My wife and kids flew the week before me and the airline lost their luggage. They did however receive it 3 days later but there was no compensation for necessities that had to be purchased. I flew on a later stage and again they lost my luggage and their is no formal support from their side and they can't even tell me where the luggage is. The contact centre never answers and their level of service is the worst that I have ever experienced. I by now assume that my luggage is lost and from the website I am only allowed to claim in 21 days... 10 days after my holiday is finished and even then no promise of compensation.
I will never use this airline agin or advise anybody to do so as they clearly have no interest in customers or of fulfilling their actual function you pay them for.
So bad they made me appreciate SAA and that says a lot
