Pilanesberg National Park Manyane
No maintenance at all at Manyane Resort

For the past 20 years we have regularly camped at the Manyane campsite, Pilanesberg. And over the past couple of years we noted the steady decline in the quality of services and maintenance at the camp site.

Once considered to be a 5 star camping site, but - we camped there over the weekend of 22 - 24 June 2013 and at the moment it cannot be classified at all - the ablution facilities are in a VERY POOR condition in URGENT need of maintenance, the camp sites do not have any grass cover at all, the restaurant can certainly improve on their buffet dinners.

Furthermore, the roads within the Pilanesberg Game Park are full of pot holes and need urgent maintenance. In the near future Pilanesberg will only be accessable via a 4x4.

On the upside, the hides (maintained by the Friends of Pilanesberg) are in perfect condition. Thanks for this.
