I have been trying to cancel Telkom as an ISP for over a month now, with no success. I phoned, emailed and eventually went to Telkom in Claremont to try and sort out the problem. They responded that they cannot help me and that I HAVE to go through the call center at 10217. I spent the the ENTIRE day on the phone waiting for service, then getting an initial person trying to help me who then "has to put me through to the cancellation department".
After that, I am placed on hold for /- 15 minutes after which I am either cut off or re-processed into the same queue and have to start the whole process again! This has happened 4 times today. It happened even more times before end of November until I eventually got service on the 9th of December 2013 (which resulted in me having to pay yet another month). I am frustrated out of my tree! It is impossible to get service from these people. I am too frustrated to try again. They obviously have put measures into place to make it extremely difficult to cancel any service! Shame on them!!!
