False marketing as part of dong business

Received spam email from a company. The company uses Email Marketing Solutions as their (spam) agent, also know as bulkmail.

On Email marketing solutions website, they state / advertise "In accordance with the Electronic Communications Bill of South Africa, we use a double opt in method to ensure that we only send emails to clients that has given permission to be sent marketing emails."

I phoned the company to request proof of this "double opt in" they allegedly use. Maartin's was quick with the "cover you mistake" answer about their client must have done it, they did not check it.

When questioned about this, Maartin was quick on his horse to say "Nobody must tell him how to do his business"

In summary, they spam people, and they advertise policies on their website that are false.

SO, Maartin, see this as you written request from me, as per the Electronic Communication Act, do never send me any email again. I will ask you if I need information, no need to make money by being a nuisance.
