Lack of Service Continues

After seven months of mostly unanswered complaints, and all complaints of no coverage not addressed. I would complain directly & on social media with false promises of getting back to me. I was promised credits on my account due to CellC failure to deliver service, then offered a cancellation with costs. Eventually, CellC agreed to terminate the agreement, as they were in breach for not providing a service. The phone was handed over 5 days ago, yet CellC has not released my number and continue to ignore the request to release my number for porting to MTN.

The frustration & waste of my time due to CellC incompetence has pushed me to the point of claiming damages against this organisation in accordance with the consumer protection act.

You cannot take someone's money and not provide the service which is what CellC has done to me. After agreeing to cancel the contract at no cost to me. CellC continues to aggravate the situation further by not releasing my number through the port requests. 1 week & 1 day after agreeing to cancel the contract & 5 days later on returning the handset, they refuse to release my number via porting.

Why must a customer be treated so badly by a company??
