Charges once contract ove

I would like to draw the attention to all Planet Fitness members that this gym is not acting fairly and it practices definitely out of the scope of Consumer Protection Act. I paid for contract for my fianc? ; the contract expired 8 months ago. They have however continued to charge me monthly without any written notice. According to the CPA, they should have sent me a written notice 40-80 business days before the contract expires.
Needless to say that Planet Fitness failed to that. They keep harassing my fianc? with messages that her account is in arrears and keep on debiting my account monthly, despite discussing it with them numerous times. The manager in question was not particularly helpful and said I should whatever I think I would like to, but they are not prepared to refund me and and/or stop the debit order.
People please be beware: this company takes advantage of people, don't give them a chance to do that with you.
