We went in to House and Home, Brits Mall on Saturday at around 4pm and purchased a bunk bed, matress and also a fridge (the original one we wanted was out of stock so we settled for another)
The sales person (firstly took forever to assist) checked that there was stock of the fridge and sent us to pay for the goods. We only left the store at 4:40 only to be told that the staff in receiving will be knocking off at 4:45. We told them not to worry as we would be there in time to collect. Upon arriving, there were only ladies working in the receiving area who battled to load the bunk bed box and then proceeded to tell us that the fridge was out of stock? They then told us that they would call us when they have ordered the fridge.
How can I pay for a fridge, then when going to pick it up be told that there is no stock? Is their system not supposed to tell them whether or not they have available? In my opinion, the ladies battled so much with a bunk bed box that they decided that a fridge would be too much work, especially so close to knock off time.
Not impressed at all House and Home! After spending just shy of R7000 in your store! Not impressed at all!!
