Lumaglo CFC not ment to last for a month, beware

I bought a Lumaglo light from Checkers on the 03 March 2013 at 19H29. I have been using this energy saving CFC since I bought it. It just went off on the 05 April 2013 at 20H11 on my watch. I bought this light for R32.99 from Checkers in Northead (O'Reilly Merry & 14th Ave). What should I do? I still have the till slip with me, please advise.
