Flora Centre
SECURITY??

The Flora Centre has become, from a plaesureable experience a few years ago, quite the place not to be. Apart from questionable building practices that seem to be going on for ages (Sharemax?) such as bad toilets and bad cleaning in general, I have now witnessed yet another problem - some security guards with a bad attitude. The person involved were doing the rounds yesterday at the entrance on the western side of the centre. Several questions about where to find certain facilities ensured one syllable answers, no help whatsoever and even an inability to clearly state the company from which he comes (sounded like Quad Security). He wasn't even ashamed to tell me the name of the company, if only he could speak a language.! Must be one of the fly-by-nights that seem to pop up everywhere and knows eveything about safety! If you have to go to this place, park on the new upper level and engage with the (non-SA) guards there. What a difference in both attitude, training and intelligence!
