True cost of owning a Genesis Hausmeiste

Genesis Hausmeister R4999, just over a month old, while filling the water bottle, it slipped out my hand in the hand basin, and broke, a crack in the plastic. I contacted Verimark who informed me due to my negligence, a new water bottle costs R515. I am happy to have to buy a new one, but R515, really, for a bottlle that holds less than 2 litres. Beware joe public the true cost of buying from verimark. I have a drinking water bottle at home (made from the same plastic) maybe 4 years old, has been dropped more times than i remember and still going strong. BUYERS BEWARE
