Checkers can't even back their in-store specials

I went to checkers today to get some Fry Vegetarian foods, there is a notice at the section that says " Fry Veg Pies R15.99", so i decide to stock up. The store has had this special for a while and I have bought it twice before. This time however the pies rang up as R19.99 each, so I inform the teller that there is a mistake and show them to the rack with the special signage. They then proceed to act as if I am an because they say the special is only on the vegetable flavour. There is no such thing as FRY VEGetarian vegetable pies. I told them that I had bought the same pies with the same special the week before but they refused to believe me, I got so frustrated that I told them to just give me my change. Then they didn't have change in the till. I am tired of being treated so pathetically by the staff when it is THEIR responsibility to keep the shelf pricing correct.
