False Advertising

Checkers advertised prawns on special - the advert in the paper states R49.99 for a box between 31 to 40 prawns.

I was on my way home and was passing Greenstone Checkers and decide to buy a box as this is cheap. I did not check the box etc and took this home and decide to make the prawns and find that firstly it is a 440g box and not 700 or 800g as advertised.
Then, the box stated 24 meduim prawns and there was only 21 prawns.

This is shocking and false advertisment - I want a proper explanation on this and why is Checkers lying to their customers???
