Pointless advert

Shops, Products, Services

On 14 January 2013 I saw a Homemark ad for a pillow which is supposed to give great back and neck support. I have never ordered from Homemark before, but decided to give it a try. The whole premise of the ad was to act fast and get a good deal on the pillow. That very day, my secretary placed an order for me. To this day (21 Feb) - no pillow. My secretary has followed up more than once, and on each occasion has been told that the order would be shipped in a few days from the day of the call. The last one of those calls was over two weeks ago, and still the order has not been shipped. To add insult to injury, I have since received a call on my cellphone from a Homemark telemarketer, trying to entice me into some other deal. My question is this: what is the point of having a lenghty infomercial punting a special product, if you are unable actual to supply it?
