I bought a nexus 7 in good faith from loot

after a few days i returned the unit because, it disappointed me and i did not have a chance to see one in a retail store as they werent available. in addition the keyboard didnt work nicely at all.-suspected hardware defect and i found the build quality poor and also the unit did not perform the way that i wanted it to, or for the purposes, i intended, while buying.

loot penalised me by charging a 15 percent penalty, despite the problems that i had with the unit.
they were very sarcastic, unfriendly, uncongenial, confrontational, obstructive and obnoxious when dealing with me. they came back to me saying that they were taking legal advice and also sent me back a test report, that was totally inadequate.
it used one test only when at least 4-6 should have been used..
testing is also not always consistent with real life experience anyway, and the test did not address the hardware problem that i clearly reported to loot.

in the end they begrudglingly refunded me the 15 percent but still taunted me buy saying that they were approaching the consumer comission..
could there be a better way to destroy a customer relationship?
