SMEG Dishwasher - Salesperson attitude

Good day,

I was interested in purchasing the LVS65WSA SMEG, 13 place, 10Lt/cycle dishwasher as advertised on Dion Wired's website. However the specifications did not seem correct as it was cheaper than the 12 place. I therefore checked online at other retailers and they had the LVS65WSA listed as a 12 place, 12Lt/cycle.

To further verify, I phoned the Fourways Dion Wired store and was put through to an African sales consultant whose name I unfortunately did not get. I asked him to verify the appliance model number and specifications and he confirmed that it was a 13 place, 10lt/cycle. He then got very upset and took off with me when I kindly had asked him to double check. He insisted that I Google it or phone SMEG "if I didn't trust him".

Seeing as the specifications were advertised on the website, and further confirmed by a Dion Wired (irrate) salesperson, I subsequently went ahead and purchased it. I eagerly await delivery of my 13 place, 10lt/cycle SMEG dishwasher. (sic!)

Note: I later called SMEG JHB. They verified that it is a 12 place, 12 lt/cycle dishwasher. They also confirmed that only SMEG dishwasher that meets the advertised specs is the LSA6445X2.
