Free Gift Farce

I bought a lounge suite on special in November 2012 which included a free gift with the purchase. On the day of concluding the transaction I was informed that they did not know how to correctly load the free gift along with the purchase and that they would inform me when my free gift was available. They delivered the lounge suit but no free gift.

Two months down the line and I am still stuck following up on the availability and delivery of my Microwave (free gift) and always get varying excuses, the latest of which is that suppliers only opened recently and had not delivered anything.

I find this type of service unbecoming and I am of the opinion that the Consumer Protection Act covers consumers against false or bait advertising. I am at a point where I want to cancel my purchase and terminate the contract between myself and Beares because of the shoddy treatment I received.
