Almost 2 Months To Open Account!

In Oct/Nov sometime, I opened an account at Edgars Clearwater Mall. A week later I called in to find out if my account was opened, they said no assistance are in I must call back later. Two weeks later I receive a letter from Edgars about the insurance policy. I didn't even know that my account was opened. I never received no sms or call. Thereafter I receive a statement and I am charged for the first insurance. On Friday 27 December, I went to Clearwater to receive my card. I got there at 6:55pm at the customer service cue, there were 5 people in front of me. There was a man in a wheel chair, he asked me what am I here for, I told him to collect my new card. He says I am in the correct cue, although I did see there was a counter for new accounts. At 7:15, when it my turn, the consultant says I am in the wrong cue, I was supposed to go to new accounts counter. There after the consultant, Leah, couldn't find my thing on the system then she had to print pre agreement etc etc. That took another 30 min. A total of almost 2 months and 50min just to receive my card! Does Edgars treat all customers like this???
