MARKHAM CHRISTMAS GIFT RETURNED, NOT ALLOWED

Good Day,
I was at your Centurion branch returning Jockey underwear that was given as an early Christmas gift. After waiting 5 minutes in the line they told me "that underwear is not allowed to be changed or refunded." I can understand why, but the package hasn't even been opened yet and the price is still attached... After purchasing another pair at another shop, we wean't to go and exchange them there and they allowed for this time, seeing that they package was not opened...
I would have at least appreciated if someone tried at looking at the package to see if it has been opened, but no interest was given or service, I expected more of the Markham sales staff.
