Sub standard product

On the 29th of September I purchased a 2kg pack of Pot-o-gold sweetcorn from the Checkers Leaping frog store. The packs had a sticky feel, but as they were frozen, and packed with other frozen items, I did not think of much of it. After shopping I went home and placed the pack into my freezer. Yesterday evening I decided to use the product, and discovered whilst cooking it, the sweetcorn had an odd scent as if it had expired. Upon tasting it, I knew the product was not suitable for consumption. While this is probably an honest mistake, I am disappointed that substandard products are on your shelves.

Disappointed patron.
