Unprofessional Staff and Unhelpful Attitude

So I sent a staff member of mine to checkers in Eikestadt Mall to buy 2L of Fresh Cream.
He comes and tell me they don't have any in stock...
So, thinking they might not have received their stock yet, I call Checkers to find out when they will be receiving their stock. After being put on hold, and listening to a lady screaming in the backround... "HENNIE! HENNIE! HIER'S FOUN VE DJOU! " (Very unprofessional) The guy (Hennie) tells me they received 4L even though they ordered 40L.
My response, as a manager and concerned customer, of course- WELL DID U CALL YOUR SUPPLIER TO FIND OUT WHY THEY DID NOT DELIVER 40L?...
His response? 'I DON'T KNOW'

From a Managerial point of view, I think it is extremely detrimental to employ such a person that clearly is costing your business money in the long run. And that, clearly not bothered attitude, along with the bad telephone etiquette is truly something that put me off of Checkes Eikestadt Mall FOR GOOD.
