Makro makes shopping at their stores inconvenient

On the 13/9/13 on completing our shopping of a printer at Makro and wanting to pay, we were informed that the Makro card would not work and we needed to go to the enquiry counter to get the card up graded (their was a long quee at the counter and we had to get back to the office to attend to our business. So with the frustration of wasted time I gave the card to the sales man and said that theuy must contact us once they had the card sorted out. Till todays' date we have heard nothing.
Seeing as the card has no value to the customer, such as is the case with a Pick n Pay or Woolworths cards which gives you points or rewards, I think they have a cheek to inconvenience the customer, so that they can obtain market research by means of their card. Add to this that they infringe on your human rights with insisting on inspecting the goods you have purchased this is unconstitutional. Once you have paid they are yours and no longer the property of Makro
