Offensively spiteful

I went to the food lovers market to pick up some stuff. They had pretty chocolates on display which I took a photo of to show a friend who might've also visited the shop after seeing the photo.
However the lady behind the counter had the nerve to tell me that I may not take a photograph. I find this highly offensive and therefor would never go back to this shop.
It's not a painting which I am going to duplicate, it's a chocolate, I can't eat the image I took of the chocolate, I can only show it to friends which would encourage people to come to your store. If I wanted to duplicate your product, I would buy a sample of it, not take a photo at the counter with my cellphone.
If I buy one, must I sign an agreement that I will not take a pic of it with my phone when I get home?
Your attitude towards customers is pathetic, you need to make serious changes if you don't want to chase customers away with your offensive and spiteful behaviour.
I see you are a company which responds to posts, I don't know if you do the whole calling thing, but please don't call me, if you do have anything to say rather email me to the email I put under policy number.
