Pick 'n Pay
False advertising

Shops, Products, Services

I would like to voice my UTTER disgust at Pick n Pay's cheap attempts at gaining marketing exposure on platforms such as Facebook by advertising the giveaway of R1000 voucher through the typical "take a quick survey" route.

The attractive offering takes the user to another site which promts further sharing of the promotion, only to be redirected, and FURTHER mislead as to the supposed voucher. A third party site then prompts the user for a "quick IQ test", resulting in a spam/ offering of a cellphone, VAS subcription of R12 initial, and R6 per day!!! This is falsely advertised and not clarified, undoubtedly catching out several unsuspecting people that fail to take the necessary time reading the fine print.

This backhanded, outright misleading scheming on behalf of Pick n Pay is shameful and disgusting!!!
