Battery for Samsung Galaxy

I have got a Samsung Tablet Galaxy Tab 10. 1
I bought it in December 2012, so now about 18 months old
and I accept that the battery is no longer under warranty
Therefore, I am will to buy a new battery - currently battery life no more than two hours max
but new battery costs R2 600

incredible connection? I think not!!! more like Incredible Rip off!!!
