Customer is not King

I have been shopping at Stuttafords for many years. Today I asked if I could exchange a vest for the correct size. The garment has a Stuttafords price label attached. Unfortunately I did not have the original receipt so it was not to be. I asked to see the Branch Manager and he was totally unhelpful. So I asked for a pair of scissors and cut it in half. Never will I shop at Stuttafords again. I contacted their Head Office who confirmed their policy stating customer have been know to change labels. As a 50 year old paying with a Platinum AMEX card I assume good judgement should have prevailed.
