I purchased a SAECO coffee machine in Dec for our holiday home. From the start the appliance was not working properly. After returning from holiday in Jan I returned the appliance. It was sent for repairs and several weeks later I received it back. When I used the appliance it became clear that it was still not fixed. I returned the appliance and requested that it be replaced. I was told that this was not possible and that it would be sent for repairs - again. From what I can determine this means that the appliance can remain defective and constantly be sent back for repairs until such time that the warranty runs out and then there would be no obligation to engage with me any further. I am of the opinion that the appliance was defective from the start as an attempt to fix it was not successful. Apart from this total lack of accountability from @Home it also seems that the person assisting me does not have the authority to make decisions and those that are in the position (regional manager) has no intention of talking to clients directly. There also seems to be no concern for finding a solution but rather an attitude of "its your problem, not ours".
