Head & Shoulders Menthol-My hair fell out!

The only thing that happened when I used the product was that my Hair moved from my 'Head to my Shoulders'! I bought the Head & Shoulders around the 25th of January 2013.
I do not suffer from dandruff, but heard that it makes your hair shine a lot.
I have NEVER suffered from excessive hair loss in my life.
All my friends and family can testify that I (normally) have thick & lots of hair!
I washed my hair about 3-4 x with the Head & Shoulders, there was always a tingling, slightly burning sensation, I thought it was normal since the product contains Menthol.
I started noticing that my hair was coming out at the roots very easily when I brushed (there's no breakage or splitting). Over the next 2-3 weeks, the whole floor was full of hair, every time I brushed. I didn't know what caused it!
I even had hair extensions installed, to hide the sudden hair loss..but the extensions fell out with my natural hair! I stopped the shampoo..within the next 2 weeks the hair fall ended. I did some research on the ingredients-SCARY!!! & contacted the distributor (P&G). They send a courier to pick up the bottle of shampoo..and NO feedback since! I lost my natural hair, my expensive extensions & self-worth.
