Extra large drink cups not strong enough to hold

Im pretty off. I went to watch Gangster Squad at Rosebank and decided to get an XL Fanta for me and my girlfriend. We get into the cinema and I place it on the floor. When I tried to pick it up, the cup bent, the lid came off and half the Fanta spilled all over me and some girl that was sitting next to me. Those cups are not strong enough for that much cold drink. How could you people offer XL without even testing the cup. Ruined my whole movie experience. I had to leave because I was wet and sticky and we didn't even get to watch the movie. Please strengthen your cups!!!
