Payment of pension fund

Good day, My father was a teacher under the Basic Education Department, he passed away on 26 Feb 2012, My family applied for the pension money to be paid out, from March 2012 first we were told that some of the ID copies we send cant be scanned we therefore sent new certified copies to them. When calling their call center its either you are told to call after a week and when you call you are told to call after another week, I believe this process is taking too long.

My stepmother has got a family to feed and really needs the money, she cant cope alone and that money can help to pay off the House, and also my siblings need to go to school 1 has matriculated and its a struggling to get bursaries while my fathers money is there
