City Power Johannesburg
5 Days without power and still no response!

Since Friday 29th November, Johannesburg North has been without power. It was restored on Saturday Nov 30th for 30 mins then off until Monday 2nd December for 3 hours and off again. I live by the Electricity Box and heard it constantly trip... the technicians come out at 2 - 3am in the morning, turn it on and off and then leave. NOTHING has been fixed or done for 5 days!! I've spent over 7 hours on the phone (on HOLD) with these guys and no answers, no care, no urgency. Today they deliver a generator only for that to trip too and I am now told "it is too small". What kind of incompetence do we have here?!?!

Can we hold them liable for any crimes committed to our property due to the lack of electricity to keep us safe?

They are very quick to OVER bill us, but when there is an issue - let's take 5 days... and counting to get it fixed.
