Power cut off without warning Friday night

Our power was cut off tonight Friday 27 September without any warning or final demand. We have paid faithfully each month and have proof of payments. Despite calling the call centre and credit department, it was made clear that nothing can be done as the municipality was closed over the weekend. The complaints department gave us incorrect information and did not log our complaint. The person who cut off our power was rude and about coming back to our premises to rectify the situation. Apparently they have no authority to do so. Even though our payments are reflected as correct on the system, the credit department does not have the authority to issue a reconnect directive. The lady who eventually helped us at the credit department was friendly but her hands were tied as she too had no authority to change anything. The system in place is ineffective and needs serious reviewing.
