I am a Gautrain commuter and uses the services of the train and bus every morning. This morning I forgot my Gautrain gold card at home and my phones battery was dead. I went to the security office where one of the senior staff members sit and asked if there was a payphone on the premises that I could use, she just said no with a bad attitude, I then asked if I could use the phone in her office which was clearly visible and explained my predicament and she just said no with attitude and walked away. I was disgusted by the way she handled the situation, if she couldnt allow me to use the phone she could have at least said so with some tact and in a polite manner instead she was rude and dispondent. I would like to thank the points man named Lawrence who works at the gate as he was extremely kind and willing to help. I also feel that the setup of the station (Rhodesfield) is terrible, there is nowhere to sit inside and if you are waiting for someone to fetch you, you have to wait outside and sit on concrete benches in the cold, which is absolutely ridiculous.

The Gautrain need to address their staff and the setup of the station.
